Ah. I asked because when I wrote a cursor to xml routine for an import (way back before we had cursortoxml), I had to enclose text fields in cdata just as a matter of course since so many normal strings (such as "&" in a company name) that use xml escape characters. Anyway, it's off topic. But thanks for the reply.
