>>Many of us would appreciate it if you didn't post your discoveries, or even hints as to how one goes about it.

>I do see your point...but.....
>mmm...so this way none of the honest Visual Foxpro programmers know that it can be done, only the hackers know? Besides it's a little bit late for that now, the hack is posted all over the internet.

>no... *we* get protected by my actions. *we* know not to trust ReFox to protect our applications and that other ideas & ways are necessary. Suppose I just kept my mouth quite about it out here??..none of these guys would know about this problem, setting them up to be robbed of their source code? ha..I dont think so.

>Why not? In my mind they've basicly stolen $300 from me (which I feel was extorsion to begin with) and then after I confront them with the work-around they avoid me! Now I could of been a jerk about it and not told them about it (or how to do it) and just posted the hack all over the internet....but being the nice guy I am decided to give them the chance to fix the problem. That was over a year ago! After sending them over 200 emails over a 6month time period I told them if they didnt give me my 300 bucks back I would exploit the flaw in ReFox. Their response? NONE..NONE EVER! Not only do I not get my $300 back for their inferior product, but they wont even acknowlege the fact that the problem exists or even do anything to fix it!

Sorry, but sounds like a tantrum to me.
