YMMV, Rich. Some object stuff will be faster, some won't but most will. My advice: Try the calendar using your beta copy and then, when VFP 8 is released, try it again.

It started slowing down so bad at about 250 appointments that you could actually see the lines being painted in slow motion across the screen. However, I haven't tried it since VFP 6. I also wonder how it would do on my old VFP Report Designer code when about 300 objects it started slowing down. There were a ton of container objects in the Calendar control though.
