NetBEUI is not native to XP; it is available as an add-on. Since the XP station is visible to the other stations, they're probably using NBT (the preferred defalt protocol for Win2K NetBIOS) possibly in conjunction with NetBEUI. Everybody else should switch to using TCP/IP and NBT if possible, since it's a routable protocol and NetBEUI is not.

>Basically, though, you go into the network setting, select the LAN icon that shows up and right click and select properties. Select TCP/IP, then properties. You might need to click on the advanced button. There is a WINS tab, you should see the NetBIOS setting at the bottom. If it is set to "Use NetBIOS setting from the DHCP server" you might need to switch it to "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP".

In order for this to work, you need a WINS server to be active.
