At least I am not alone!.

I am just so curious to find out how things changed in these newer InkJets that causes this.... It gets worse, lately I bought a cheap Laser Printer for $70 that installs it's own port (instead of using LPT1), and it doesn't work either.... So the dark cloud is expanding!.

I wish I knew a Senior Support Enginer at Epson that could explain to us, why "Escape Codes" don't work anymore? I remember, those DOS days, the whole printer manual was dedicated to explaining these Escape Codes and with all kinds of cross-reference tables listing them. Now, we can't even find out why they don't work anymore!!!

Maybe the solution is not as compilcated as to having to rewrite 589 FP2.6 reports in VFP7 !!!! Maybe there is now a "Compatibility" Escape Code that turns on the old times!!! (I'm serious!)
