Marc,

Firstly I am not an experienced user on dll-registration (etc.). However, once I was playing with two W95 PC's connected via an Ethernet connection (so, no "server" as such involved), and the C:-drive of the one PC was shared to the other. Now, to my surprise I could run all stuff from the other PC (like VFP) which sure wasn't on the disk of the PC I was typing to.
Possibly this is the most normal thing, but I accepted it as strange.

In your situation, I wouldn't know how to set it up, but I guess that once you are able to let the one PC think it's registry is at the server's disk, or it would just run, or you might need to add an explicit share from the network disk. I think you only have a chance when the NOS is NT (W2K etc.), and not Novell.

In the very end I'd say it will always be possible to connect one normal PC in the (NT or Novell) network, and share it's C:-drive to the network. A dll-server. < g >.

Remember, I had this "experience" on W95-W95.

HTH,
Peter
