>>Will the Vfp8 be fully compatible with Sql Server 2000 even without using ODBC connection? We wanted to upgrade our applications using Sql Server 2000 buw we have to modify a lot of source codes? Can VFP address the compatibility of commands between using native foxpro DBC and using Sql Server 2000.

Hi Ken !

I think that your answer missed a little bit the question.
I am also interested in how much better can VFP8 address the compatibility of commands between using native foxpro DBC and using Sql Server 2000.
For example demo app include with (Tasmanian Traders) how much easier it would be port it to SQL Server using VFP8 (compared with VFP7).
For example problem VFP empty dates - can VFP8 automate propper conversion of empty VFP dates to SQL Servers dates and vice versa (NULL to empty dates).
For example what about locking rows of a table ?
