Just check if your service runs under some user accound that has access to all required data and folders. This might be just a security issue.

What means "Does nto works" in your case? How you see it does not works? Did it show any error messages? Do you have internal error logging approach, so your APP do not hang up when error happens, and writes error message into log file? If yes, what is an error and a behavior of app? I can tell you "My Quick Time Player does not works", but you probably would not help me in any way because lack of information :-))
