Sergey,
Thanks.
This partially helps.
When I run the VFPODBC.msi I get a message that "The VFP ODBC Driver Setup is not supported on Windows 2000"
In comparing the VFPODBC.DLL on the 2 computers I have:
Comp #1 - Win2k, VFP 7, Word 2000 - VFPODBC.DLL - 6.01.8629.01 - 7/26/2000
Comp #2 - Win2k, VFP 7, Word XP - VFPODBC.DLL - 6.01.8629.01 - 12/7/1999
When I run wdvfpdns.exe I now have the USER DSN "FoxPro Files - Word" on Computer #2. That User DSN was not there previously.
I am assuming that getting the later date VFPODBC.dll may solve my problem but I cannot get windows to allow this.
Your thoughts???
Thanks for the help.
ps. I have clients which are having the same problem. That is how I became aware of it.
