I think that is correct. Someone told us that printer manufacturers had to pay HP a royalty for using the PCL language, so they just stopped supporting it. We assume that there is no way to move the image around on the newer inkjets and lasers. Of course programs like Quickbooks can move the check image. They may just be padding the left side and/or top with spaces and different size fonts to move the image. That will probably be our next approach to the problem. If that works then it will be a potential solution for all non-impact printers.
