>Isn't it time to get it die gracefully and install Windows 2000. It's much, much, much, ... better to work on/in/with.

My manager, who has Windows 2000, complains, that the speed is much worse, than on Windows 95/98. I noticed it too, but don't know an explanation. My Windows 95 works fast, my colleague's Windows 95 works fast as well. Other users in the office have Windows 98. Their computers work much slowly (though I and my colleague mostly work on development server, while users work on Live server) than mine...

In the above paragraph I was referring to work with our application, which is installed on the Network.

I think, the reason lies in Network configuration and not the OS itself, but I don't have enough information to support either of the theories...

>>I install and uninstall so many stuff on my poor Windows 95, that today my computer refused to start at all. Our Network Administator is working on it...
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
