There are several Type Conversion functions listed in the Formula Editor.

>I have a customer pulling data from two VFP tables. The problem is they are trying to add two fields together. One field is a character and the other is a numeric. Is there a way to convert the character field to a numeric for this calculation? In VFP I would just use the VAL() for the character field. Is there an equivalent in crystal?
