PMI, but there will be an MSI with InstallShield Express VFP LE that ships with VFP 8 that has (almost) all of the VFP requirements in a single file. This is a change from VFP 7 where you had to select the VC runtimes as well as the VFP runtimes.
We created a dependency to the VC runtimes and GDIPlus so that they are yanked into the setup automatically once the VFP runtimes are selected. The only other file you may need to manually select is MS XML 4.0 MSI.
Furthermore, the edition of ISE we ship allows you to create update/upgrade installations ... look into that and you may find ways to really save yourself some hassle.
>Ed thanks for the info. I'd like to make sure I understand.

>1. Create an MSI for the vfp8 requirements. (Right now I use the full version of installshield).
>2. Modify the applaucher, so that if it see's a new MSI file, it pulls it down and runs it prior to launching the actual application.
