Any good way to detect existence of my file server?
I try to use FCREATE() to create a dummy file on server. If -1 returned, meant server is not exist. I have a question that, why the reply time of FCREATE() is vary from different pc if the file server is not exist? Some pc can reply faster ~3 secs and some are 15 secs or cause pc hault. Any ideas?
