A friend bought a fancy Sony 'entertainment-centre' type of PC with 40 watt amplifier, FM tuner, TV tuner, DVD recorder, MD recorder, etc. running under XP-Home

Giga Pocket seems to be a hardware/software combination that controls all TV functionality and includes (As best I understand TIVO) TIVO-like functionality.

All worked fine when first started up and for many days after. However, since installing Office XP and numerous Windows Update stuff (25+ criticals and several Windows updates) the tuner fails to receive TV channels 26 - 47.

Anyone lucky enough to have one of these, unlucky enough to have the same problem, and lucky enough to find the fix?
