>I have a user who uses FrontPage on a site on our server (Win2K Server), which has FrontPage extensions. She has a user account in Windows, and has been set as the administrator for FrontPage on that site. Her passwords match in both Windoes and FrontPage. She can open and edit any of the pages for that site, but every time she saves it prompts for her password again. When she has entered the password, it saves fine. I tried searching support.microsoft.com, but didn't find an answer. Any ideas on a cause/solution, or where I could go to find one?

The usual configuration is to set your user's account as an administrator of that FrontPage site. But that means the same account (validated by a domain controller, i.e. MYFIRM\Susan ), not just two separate local accounts, on the client desktop and FrontPage server, with the same name and pwd.

If you lack a domain controller (and thus the ability of the server to "trust" the account), I don't think there's an alternative to entering the password each time. The same would apply if the user connects to the server thru a standard HTTP connection (no automatic Windows authentication enabled)

Hope this helps
