thanks for that, however it still prints the main report even though you are drilled down to the next level even doing a right click and print ... if i remember correctly i coded round this problem using the activeviewindex property on the CRVIEWER, this property lets you know whether you are currently on either the main report or a drill down subreport, can't remember what else i did after this though in order to get it too print subreports correctly!!
