Thanks for replying, Terry, and sorry I hadn't replied -- my mistake, I
guess, for posting late on a Friday afternoon!
As to the combo/timer problem, I've tested it by creating a simple form
containing nothing in it except the timer, the combo, and a command
button. The combo itself has no code in any methods and the timer only
has a THISFORM.RELEASE associated with the Timer event. The problem I
described still occurs. So, I'm 99% sure the problem doesn't reside in
any code I have added to the controls in our real forms.
By housekeeping, do you mean that I might need to programmatically release
the combo and the timeras a workaround? I haven't tried that. I'll give
it a shot.
