We use the HP Laserjet 2200 with VFP6 and VFP7. What OS are you using and version of VFP? I've seen device conflicts in Win95 and Win98 with this printer. YOu might try:

Is it a pure 2200 or a 2200dn, se, xi, etc? Which printer drivers are you using? I would try installing a different version of the printer drivers before anything else. Some of the HP printer drivers can be flaky in VFP. Can you print to the HP2000 through all of your other windows programs fine?

Try selecting a different printer driver. If the HP LaserJet 2200 series PCL 6 driver is selected, switch to a PCL 5e or PS printer driver.

In some you can use an HP4 printer driver but I cannot remember if that is true of the HP2200 or not. You can try it.
