You're right, this is an ugly one...it apparently doesn't like the combo drop-down being active. I had some luck with this, though...issue a KEYBOARD 27 (Escape) or maybe even some other key prior to the THISFORM.Release(). This will deactivate the dropdown prior to release.

Just a workaround, not a solution...
