Verify that Regsvr32.exe is in your Windows\System folder, for example:
C:\Windows\System
-or-
\Winnt\System32
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Run dialog box, type the following command:
Regsvr32.exe C:\progra~1\common~1\micros~1\dao\dao360.dll
It is important that you use the "old" Windows syntax when specifying the path to dao360.dll. In the above example if you use c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\dao\dao360.dll the registration will not succeed.
This is the MS DAO 3.6 Object Library , and is typically installed with Office (for MSAccess). I think it was installed with Visual Studio SP5 too. I have only seen examples in VB for calling it (sorry).
Why are you wanting to instantiate it in VFP? I think I did not understand that portion of your message (sorry).
Hope this helps,
Tracy
