>OK. Does that mean that any submitted through that channel are ignored/dropped (I see below that they are not)? If not, then the community loses.

You misunderstood me. If I sent an ER by email to someone I know at Microsoft, I'm most likely to get a message back asking me to put it on the public list.

There is some discussion among MVP's about ER ideas, but now that I think of it, I believe that we've been told that ER's there also should go on the public list. That leaves, as the only private venue, ER's posted in a beta, and those really do need to stay private because they often relate to new features.

>I certainly feel that it is quite onerous too, not inuitive at all. But here's the thing... I've made seveal attempts to get a better wish facility discussed/delivered for the UT.
While you are the second MVP in a very short period to mention this deficiency, I've yet to have an iota of support, or even a CONSTRUCTIVE comment, from a single MVP in any of my attempts!

What you don't know is that, in fact, a number of MVP's have expressed dismay over the UT being the host for the wish list. Many of us don't believe that it belongs on a private, non-MSFT site for which you have to pay for full access. (I know you can get to the wish list without paying.)
