Ok, so the existence of the terrific community support by outstanding members initiated the creation of the MVP program by MSFT, correct? Granted it does not 'ensure' that such great community support exists then, but it definitely helps to ensure that it continues, agreed? Many would continue to provide great community support without the MVP program I'm sure, but it also helps to keep it going and rewards those that invest the time in providing such great support and is a worthwhile program. I'm sure it prompts 'some' to provide more community support than they would otherwise, because let's face it, an MSDN Universal subcription is a great reward.

>>The MVP program ensures excellent peer-level support and that is practically a trademark of VFP.

>Just for the record, the MVP program in no way ensures this. The outstanding members of the community (MVP or not) are the ones who make this happen. The MVP award was a response to that phenomenon.
