I find that when I issue a query to the server which returns a column of type Text, the resulting VFP cursor will convert that to a Memo field type. However, the memo field has CHR(0) characters throughout its contents placed once between every character.

I know I can do a STRTRAN to strip them out, but I was curious if this is expected behaviour. If not, is there a setting I'm missing?

Laterness,
Jon
