>This is not completely correct. You don't have to leave a field out if you modify the order of the field's appearance in the Selected Fields list box of the view designer. Initially, select all of the fields, then, before you save it, select the bottom most field (for example) and move it up one in the order (use the grey button to the left of the field name). Viewing the SQL of the view (right click and choose View SQL) shows that the SELECT * has been replaced with SELECT (field list). You can now modify your SQL Tables at will without adversely affecting your Remote View definitions.
