Hi,

I am using Checkpoint on my network, in fact firewall is not the only thing you need to think about it, there are other things related to the security subject and firewalls.

One day some one hacked our systems and changed our site homepage to something else!!!, so how he hacked the site while checkpoint is runnnig I don't know, althou all the ports closed and I opened only what I need to use.

After I did some investegations about this subject, I think he accessed the site from port 80 which it must be open to access our homepage, and by the way most of hacking comes from this common port.

And another misstake I did that I was not updating the security of my NT server.

So, it's not only the firewall :), you have to take care of all the network components.
