Hello (1st post on Linux forum),

1.) I just had someone tell me that trying to change the read-only attibute of a file on a Linux server from a windows client via the windows explorer just won't work. Is this true?

2.) Is there any programmatic way (through VFP in fact) to set the read-only flag to true/false from a windows client machine?
