Hi Gary,
>PMFJI but as far as I can ascertain, the (main) reason for not supporting Win95/NT with VFP8 is that neither of these versions of Windows provide active desktop support. VFP8 uses a different graphics API to support XP/Themes which by default, appears to rule out Win95/NT, rather than a specific business decision just to deliberately exclude these Windows versions, per-se.

This is from the GDI+ MSDN site at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/gdicpp/gdi+/gdi+.aspGDI+ can be used in all Windows-based applications. GDI+ is new technology that is included in Windows XP and the Windows.NET Server family. It is required as a redistributable for applications that run on the Microsoft Windows NT® 4.0 SP6, Windows 2000, Windows 98, and Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me) operating systems. So, GDI+ is supported on NT. Maybe the issue is Active Desktop, as Ed Rauh mentioned, which is installable on NT with IE4. Hopefully, there is some way to get it working.
