>We are reviewing your suggestions and others to improve the UT Wish List system, but overall we feel the ways in which we receive wish list requests is very good and it should be shown in the features included in VFP 8.0. We don't feel MVPs changing what they do with regards to wish list is required and it is really up to them to decide how they would like to communicate feedback with the various options they have to do this.

Ken,

There is absolutely and positively NO DOUBT in my mind that VFP8 carries tons of the wishes detailed on the wish list. In fact it went way beyond what I would have taken as reasonable expectations!!! You and the balance of the VFP Team have done AMAZINGLY for VFP8.

And, as I acknowledged in my message regarding changes to the Europa list, it is also very clear that the list as presently consitiuted works very well for the VFP Team.

My main issue is improving the utility of the list for members of the UT itself. I hope to find some ways that basically let the VFP Team keep their mechanisms intact but at the same time improve the content and useability for UT members.
Of course this includes the listing of more of the wishes that are communicated to the VFP Team. That is the primary reason why I have asked MVPs to use the UT Wish List in lieu of the private channel. Since MVPs are under NDA regarding things discussed in that channel, it really does seem to be an either/or situation.
In addition to providing a more comprehensive list, I also see a benefit in that it would provide better examples of how to express and justify wishes.

Jim
