Hi,
Yes we do that kind of conversions - more than 10 systems - 500- 3000 working hours.
- first reason – Graphic User Interface. Users gain from all new VFP interface technologies - MDI, toolbars, grids. You can put in the same window more information than in UNIX FP apps screen.
- easy and cheap maintenance. It is cheaply to train Win2000 administrator, than UNIX one. Support of VFP apps is easy with a lot of tools, which are developed - for database maintenance, report designers, ....
- possibility to migrate to large database - SQLServer
If you outsource development to us I suppose that it will be not so expensive.
