Hi Nadya,

We adjusted our format about 3/4 of a year ago and we now do a pre-meeting session. Officially, the user group meeting starts at 7:00pm. But starting at 6:00pm, I have been facilitating a one hour discussion on a chosen topic. The topic is different each month. This early session is not a lecture or presentation. It's just [facilitated] open discussion involving most people in the room. These meetings have generated some good information and perspective on a number of issues.

As for presenting in the main meeting... I do occassionally. But in Boston, we are often blessed with some of the big names in FoxPro stopping in and presenting.

For instance, our next meeting (10/23) we have Mike and Toni Feltman presenting... WOW!

A month or two ago, we had Les Pinter. A while before that we had Ken Levy. We've had Rick Strahl, Jim Booth, and on and on...

And of course, We've got Ted Roche and Harold Chattaway as local members in the group.

This group is a great resource. I hope you can make it here and join in.

Guy

>>Email your request to Arnold also. It will become part of the annoncements an thereby increase your odds of someone getting in touch with you who may be from that area.

>>>I receive an invitation regularly from Arnold, but I was unable to attend meetings so far. I'd like to attend User Group meeting some day, but I don't have a car now and don't know, how to get there.
>>>
>>>If it's not too much to ask and somebody can pick me up and drive there, please, drop me an e-mail.
>>>
>>>I work in downtown Boston and live in West Roxbury.
>>>
>>>Thanks a lot in advance.
