>Today I received an email from Venelina Jordanova - member ID 036910 - advertising her firm's programming services. I wouldn't place it in the same category as most spams, however it's an unsolicited advertisement using a private email address harvested from the UT.

>The UT is one of the few places that I use the same email address that I give out to friends and family and until today it hasn't been abused. I reckon I'll be changing it pretty sharpish.

>Did anyone else receive this spam? Is there a policy on this? Michael?
As you know, we can't control what someone else would do with some data of your account which is public. However, you can formulate a complain and send it to me by email. That assumes however that you have serious evidences that a member has grabbed that information from your account here. In order for such a complain to be effective, serious evidences should be part of the complain.
As for your email, there is an option for that in your account. You can hide this information if you wish.
