Have you tried just assigning an alias to the table in designer? (Database | Set Alias).

Also, since you can change the table name at runtime, does it really matter what was used in the designer?


>(CR ver 8.0) In an existing report, is there a way to change the table name (same structure) which is the source of the report in design mode, without the bound objects in the report (text boxes) that have already been placed being lost? Example, I have a text object bound to a field named "TableName.State" and I want to change it to "SomeOtherTableName.State". This report is bound to a VFP free table, saved using 'TYPE FOX2X'.
