Hi Gerard,
When I ran into the problem, Winzip and Windows Explorer could see the files effected, however these files could not be copied to a CD, my work around was to Winzip the files then put the .zip file on the CD. Also moved to XP Pro and changed from Adaptec 2940 to Ultra 160 and have not run into the problem since. My problem was exacerbated by the fact that my Computer is only restarted/shutdown about once every 3 months and I was not aware of the Delayed Write thing which I understand was fixed in SP3. The "Depends" utility in Visual Studio 6 might help you track dow which DynaZip files might have dependencies that were enticed into DLL hell.
Regards
Andrew

>>Hi Gerard,
>>If you are using Windows 2000 you should install SP3 ASAP. There was a delayed write problem that caused some problems with variuos VFP files. Winzip manages to read them but some others do not, including CD copy software. HTH.
>>>Hi Mark.
>>>I have set up a test folder to check this also and the same is happening... even after I reboot my PC . (It works fine if the same option is run from another PC that can see my folder as a shared folder) , so I reckon it must be some setting in my registry.

>>>I dont think I am using any atrribute or date filtering but am not sure (not intentionally anyway) where could I check this. ?
