In VFP 7, when I do

_CLIPTEXT = GETPICT()

I get the Open Picture dialog, which allows me to preview
images and make a selection


In VFP 8, when I do

_CLIPTEXT = GETPICT()

I get the Open FILE dialog. There is no place
to preview the images.

The help states:

Note The Preview check box in the Open Picture dialog box appears when
running Visual FoxPro on operating systems earlier than Windows 2000.

The Preview feature is part of the Open Picture dialog box when running
Visual FoxPro on operating systems later than Windows 2000

I'm on Win 2000, and I'm not sure which of the 2 above applies. There is
a BEFORE and AFTER clause, but no Win 2000.

So, why can't I preview images?
