One idea, assuming you can dictate what type of HTML/JavaScript code can go into the page (and event binding isn't an option), is to pass an object reference from a VFP object into the HTML page via JavaScript, and call it from an onClick event. Thanks Paul. Problem solved by using the webbrowser.DocumentComplete event. But here's the .ASP code:

Could it be that the onsubmit is really just checking validation of entered values and it's the "action" that's causing the new page to be displayed? AS I said, the other page does come up, the webbrowser.LocationURL property changes, and the webbrowser.DocumentComplete fires, but not the BeforeNavigate2.
