Here are some articles that step you through the process of creating Crystal Reports in .NET. I'm thinking that you are just missing a "critical" step to get the report to display properly. The error that is generating tells me that some where in your code you are missing creating an object.
>Ok - I'm at the end of my rope with this report. >I can see the report at design time. >I have set the ReportSource to "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\MyWeb\CrystalReport.rpt" >After the call to InitializeComponent(), I added CrystalReportViewer1.DataBind() > >I get Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. > >And a Stack Trace (that I'm sorry but I dont understand it) > >What in the world am I NOT doing. > >The CR Report expert adds several references that I have set the property of Copy Local = true > >Please help, I've spent all D*#^ day trying to make this simple thing work. > >Thanks In advance
