I have found a Registry setting that could have a direct relationship with the ActiveX object.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\BROWSE\FTPPASV

This key points to another key, which will tell you if IE has turned on PASV mode(yes,no). I have contacted my user I thought was having the problem, but their network people must have fixed the problem with the firewall (so much for that user.) I have been redirected to another user which I will be in contact with later on today.

My test will be simple:

1. Is the IE PASV checkbox unchecked... attempt to submit (hopefully it fails!)
2. If it does fail, turn on PASV mode in IE... attempt to submit again (hopefully it is successful!)

If this is the case; then, I need to adjust the Registry automatically for PASV mode on. Also, if it works, then why am I setting a property in the Registry for something that should be a property in the MSINET.OCX! (So much for the BlackBox theory.)
