I've had a couple complaints on this behaviour and was wondering if there is a way to stop it.

I have a form which the background is filled with a bitmap image.

On the form are 2 listboxes.

when the form first loads there are 2 rectangular bands at the bottom of each listbox. each band is colored as the form's backcolor, not as the fill bitmap.

when either of the listboxes are clicked, both bands go away and the fill bitmap is displayed properly.
