Greetings at all!
My client is running a foxpro application in VFP 6.0 that does not use .SCX/SCT forms but uses program code to simulate forms. We want to add custom reports and have created RPTGRID1.SCX (a modal screen) as the user interface. We call this screen from the application's menu with "DO FORM rptgrid1.scx with 'Custom Report',1".

In the client application, it works if we call the form from within the application's dot-prompt emulator. If we call it using the menu, the screen displays correctly but none of the objects (buttons and text boxes) are accessible. The form is lifeless except for the [X] in the upper right corner only.

I think I need to add READ EVENTS. If so, where would the READ EVENTS and the CLEAR EVENTS go to allow the screen to function properly and not effect the other application?
