MS Access Prevents MAPIMAIL From Working

We had a VFP5 compiled application using MAPIMAIL successfully with OutLook Express and Outlook on W95/W98/XP standalone machines. There was also a W95/Outlook workstation on an Exchange Server.
Most of the end users have started experiencing problems in that MAPIMAIL does not return an error to the application and E-mails do not appear in their sent folder.
From the information that I have managed to gather the problem seems to be related to adding a 3rd party application written in MS Access to the workstations experiencing the problem.
The workstations are spread accross Canada and the only one which is local is a W95, Outlook, Exchange Server combination where the Access application was added. From what I can see, the MAPIMAIL seems to be functioning normally, the Outlook pop-up appears where they click 'OK' to the default Microsoft Outlook profile and the E-mail drops into the bit bucket.
Outlook appears to be the default Mail Handler.
I tried re-registering the MSMAPI32.OCX, ran FOX.REG, repaired Outlook and reinstalled OutLook (without removing first). All without success.
We are becoming desperate as the client's business is seasonal and next week will be the start of the frequent useage of this application.
All assistance is greatly appreciated.
