While I don't use Delphi and don't know exactly what DBNavigator looks like, in VFP 7, you can check out the TSToolbar class in the TSBase.Vcx under Samples\Tastrade. It has VCR buttons for record navigation and it is linked to _Screen.ActiveForm.
