Any new information on resolving this problem?? We, too, are encountering the error code 0x80010105 'The server threw an exception' using OLE automation from VFP6 for mailmerge letters. Our code works great on many combinations of Windows operating systems from Win95 to WinXP and Word97 to Word2002, but we get that error on WinXP systems with Word2002. The first mailmerge of the letter completes okay but subsequent ones error out on the line of code that does the application.document.open.

Please help if you can - our application is heavily dependent on our mailmerge output.
