Thanks for the information. I will give it a try. John Koziol had an idea using the WindowsType, but it applied only to formsets. I will try using READ EVENTS with this form as a modal form and issue CLEAR EVENTS before returning to the parent application.
The application is compiled in VFP 6.0. It is essentially an application using coding that dates back to foxbase days. All windows are constructed with @..SAY's and @..GET's. I really want to avoid such construction with my custom screens.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
