Try putting the grid's recordsource value into the grid's cWorkarea property too.

I don't suppose this grid cursor is the primary cursor of the data set but if it is, specify its name in the form's cWorkarea property too. I am not saying this is standard practice or anything but I am interested to see whether these changes impact on the problem.

Try the same grid on a proper table. Maybe create a table based on the schema of your cursor and put some data in it. Then try the Codemine grid specifying the real table as opposed to creating the view on the fly -- what happens then?
