Linklisting (even in VFP) would be a good practice. Link IDs could be a data bucket in the field structure of some future VFP! But implementation, unless the fox team can make it easy and transparent enough to work with legacy systems, requires a lot more discipline than a lazy guy like me is is likey to exercise:-).
