Rex,
Using ISTool you'll still have direct access to the INNO script via the built-in text editor. I use that all the time to make certain kinds of changes. But in addition, ISTool gives you get an interactive, grid-like view of each section of the script, and you can right-click on any line to bring up a property sheet for that item. The grid-like presentation makes it really easy to visually scan your script to confirm the desired settings (e.g., destination directory, copy mode, etc.) and the property sheet for each item is great because it displays your choices (which means fewer visits back to the INNO Setup help file, although I still use that too). I'm sure you'll like ISTool, and it does not intefere with INNO itself in any way. BTW I'm using the latest betas of both products, so these comments pertain to those versions.
