Those are probably dBase files, my guess is dBaseIV tables. The .DBF is the table, the .DBT are any memo records. MDX files are the indexes.

You should be able open the tables, (but not the indexes) via ODBC, try the dBase or VFP driver.

BTW, VFP still uses DBF/DBT files, but defaults to CDX as the index file extension.
