Sorry, I have no other ideas. I would expect to be able to use VFP to open a DBF created with BDE (I've even seen a Delphi website that suggested a VFP COM object for manipulating those DBF's in certain situations).

Can we through any other initials out there? :)

>Thats what i thought as well. VFP laughed at me, and I tried dbase III - 5 drivers. Although if DB III could have worked VFP would have picked it up... I just didn't want to overlook any options. I don't know where to get a Delphi driver, or if that is even a real type... Any other ideas? What I do know is that the origional program called Service Pro used the Borland Database Engine (BDE) I don't know if DB2 is a type that can live in a PC folder.
