If you're using the OCX, there's a DEMO property that is T or F. I create a file TESTING.TXT in the dev environment and set the DEMO property to T if the file exists. This gives a random approval or denial to transactions.

Besides demo mode, there are a couple of test accounts, do you have a question about specific test account?
